FAQ
Why do I need to sign a contract?
My contracts are in place to keep my clients and business protected and creates a clear list of expectations of everyone involved. I want my clients to know that I hold myself accountable to follow through on each and every promise made; a contract ensures that we are always on the same page.
Do you have a studio?
Nope! My work is heavily inspired by nature and my ability to create art in unexpected places. I will photograph you anywhere from the comfort of your own home, to the great outdoors, adventure is welcome here!
If you love my style/vibe and want to work in studio together, I'm more than happy to accommodate by request. Additional studio + travel fees may apply.
How long will my session be?
Regular sessions are not timed. I typically ask clients to allow for up to two hours for a regular session, this gives us plenty of time to talk and get acquainted before we start snapping photos. I treat my sessions as if I am catching up with old friends, I want to know your story so that I can be sure to capture the details that matter most to you. I take my time and photograph with intention; something that can't be done in a tight time-frame.
What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround time varies. Most galleries are completed within three weeks. If you receive a proof gallery, your turnaround time will begin after you've selected your images.
Wedding clients will receive all edited images within two months of their wedding date; as well as a small sneak peek within two weeks.
Will you edit X thing about me?
As a strong advocate for self-love and expression, I feel it is my duty to help you feel beautiful being photographed as you are in real life. I create space for clients to communicate any insecurities they may have about being photographed. I will do my best to ensure that you feel seen, heard, and celebrated as you are.
Specific editing requests (i.e. changing someone's appearance) will not be accommodated unless related to something temporary like a blemish, breakout, or bruise that would otherwise be gone within a few days or weeks.
What should I wear?
Dress appropriately for the weather in clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. I adore warm, neutral, earthy tones with pops of whites, creams, or beiges. Try to steer away from over-saturated, bright colours and patterns, which will take the focus of the image off of you, the subject. I'll send basic style guidance for the season and location you choose, and highly encourage you to ask for help if you're unsure!
